Children

Awana is a global ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love, and serve Him. At Cottage Hill Baptist Church, we believe our children are our future and we want to encourage our children through AWANA because of the simple and seamless way that it brings God's word into the home and hearts of families. Through small groups, large groups, and game time we aim to instill love and respect for God and His Word; help kids to learn and understand Scripture; and support parents as they disciple their kids.

The name Awana is derived from the first letters of "Approved
workmen are not ashamed" which comes from the Bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15 - "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

We are a church who believes in serving the community and that includes teaching the Word of God to our children. God's word is full of love, care, concern, mercy, and grace. We want to instill these values to the children who visit CHBC. 

We provide a safe and secure place for our children. We have automated checkin available at Kiosks for our families and visitors. You can download our app and even check your child in early. 

We are a small community church with large heart for the community! We want to provide every opportunity for the children to hear God's message.
